Haven’t used this one yet, but i can feel the spring in the blade, despite how thick the spine is. The Handle feels good in XL hands, it’s balanced enough, and the aesthetics are excellent. It’s sharp out of the box and finished nicely in two tone dlc. Glad I picked it up.
The sword is awesome. I couldn't be happier with the quality and craftsmanship. I have bought many knives and swords over the years and have paid some hefty prices for many thinking this has to be high quality just to be disappointed. I have to say that if you are looking for that high quality without having to pay an outrageous price, then you won't be disappointed with this sword. I loved it so much I got the new Mutant Spartan Warriors v2 and as the first, very very happy.
This is NOT a toy. It’s heavy, aggressive, and looks insane in person.
Upgraded from the original Spartan, and the V2 is worth every penny. The action is smoother, the deployment is faster, and the reinforced tip gives me confidence in demanding situations. The free sling was a nice bonus – it’s actually quality gear, not just an add-on
First thing I did was take it to the woods and chop up about a 5” round dead log. Handled it like butter, no edge curling or anything. Am super happy with fit finish and blade edge quality.
I love the balance in the weight of the sword, even though it did take a while cause of a mess up. I’m very happy with the product with some sword.
I have always wanted a real sword and this did it for me. I can't afford a real katana but this is a real sword sharp beautiful solid. Proud to pull it out and show people my sword.

This is a wonderful sword….very sturdy and beautifully finished! It was nicely sharp - good for a sword edge. The only change I would make is for Box Katana to do a distal taper - make it gradually thinner from base to tip. I think this would shift the balance and make the handling better. But I would absolutely buy this again!

Was a bit uncertain about ordering this sword. Took a chance and ordered it. Turned out the site is legit and the sword is awesome.
I was extremely surprised at the outstanding quality craftsmanship, materials, balance, fitment of the blades furniture, and even the scabbard/Saya is outstanding. No rice mats yet, but pool noddles sliced clean. Balance about 2-3 inches in front of tsuba/hand guard. It is an amazing value for the money.

Quality met my hopes and expectations. Able to cut paper straight out of the box, weight and balance are perfect. Treat it with respect and it won't disappoint you. Oil needed to maintain, thankfully it had already received it's first coat.

Love the Sword. Style is unique and strong, well balanced and sturdy. However, i hate the scabbard. It doesn't compliment the sword at all. I appreciate the attempt at a modern functional design, but definitely would prefer a more traditional scabbard. Which I am now shopping around for to replace the one that came with the sword.
