Love the Sword. Style is unique and strong, well balanced and sturdy. However, i hate the scabbard. It doesn't compliment the sword at all. I appreciate the attempt at a modern functional design, but definitely would prefer a more traditional scabbard. Which I am now shopping around for to replace the one that came with the sword.

This is a wonderful sword….very sturdy and beautifully finished! It was nicely sharp - good for a sword edge. The only change I would make is for Box Katana to do a distal taper - make it gradually thinner from base to tip. I think this would shift the balance and make the handling better. But I would absolutely buy this again!

I was extremely surprised at the outstanding quality craftsmanship, materials, balance, fitment of the blades furniture, and even the scabbard/Saya is outstanding. No rice mats yet, but pool noddles sliced clean. Balance about 2-3 inches in front of tsuba/hand guard. It is an amazing value for the money.
